Challah For Days! (Virginia-Highland)
Challah, the delicious traditional bread eaten on Shabbat, is a cornerstone of this family’s Shabbat practice. At their session, participants will exchange tips and tricks for making and braiding challah. Please bring a 5 lb bag of white flour and the largest mixing bowl you have. Leave with 6 challot to finish and bake at home. Freeze them for up to 3 months. *This event is for adults only.

Jewish Homesteading (Chamblee)
Join our family for a fun afternoon as we share how we weave Judaism into our daily home life through gardening and animal care. We infuse our Jewish values in the ways that we care for our land and dog, chickens, cats, and bees. As the Torah instructs, we feed our animals before ourselves, tend to our land, say blessings as we taste from our garden, and much more. Come sing, taste, and explore the world around us! We’ll make yummy treats from our garden to enjoy as well. *This event is family friendly.

Create Your Own Rituals (Knoxville, TN)

Many of us depend on Jewish rituals to provide the framework for our life’s emotional journey. But what do you do when there isn’t a ritual for your important moment? This session will help you to form your own rituals to mark those important moments that our rabbis and sages couldn’t have anticipated using resources from Ritualwell. *This event is for adults only.
